    The Manager – Professional Education will be responsible for winning the hearts and minds of our Dental Health Professionals by developing, implementing and managing strategic and tactical professional education plans for Orapharma’s dental portfolio (ARESTIN®, NeutraSal®, OSSIX®, etc.).

     

    This includes working closely with Marketing to manage and enhance our school program, build a platform that engages Hygienists, build a robust KOL and speaker program and create Centers of Excellence that will serve as models and resources for prospective customers.

    This position requires a strong intellectual curiosity, strategic thinking and business acumen, the ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Identify, develop and maintain a wide network of strategic internal and external partners/Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to collaborate on projects, strategies and build confidence, trust and respect in order to increase OraPharma’s share of voice within Dentistry
    • Create KOL strategies to further develop and solidify productive relationships across the Orapharma portfolio
    • Collaborate with Professional Education/Brand Leads to manage/monitor all promotional speaker program engagements including contracting, KOL selection, training, field engagement and dental conferences.
    • Develop and coordinate advisory boards to uncover key insights to support future marketing strategy and tactics.
    • Successfully integrate industry insights and leverage strong relationships with KOLs and speakers to guide business and marketing strategies and drive top line growth
    • Build a platform that elevates the OraPharma brand in the minds of Dental Hygienists and increases collaboration between OraPharma and Dental Hygienists
    • Collaborate with cross functional team members to develop and implement strategies in support of marketed products, launches, and development projects
    • Develop short term an long term strategies for our ARESTIN® Student Access Program
    • Speaker Bureau Oversight
      • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leaders to define and execute strategy for Speaker bureau
      • Responsibility and oversight for speaker bureau budget with keen focus on maximizing ROI
    • Develop a platform to provide the sales leadership team with regular updates on KOL engagement

     

    Qualifications

    • Education: BA/BS and/or RDH required
    • Deep understanding of the dental industry and landscape required
    • Current or previous experience creating, executing or supporting professional education strategies required
    • 3+ years of sales or marketing in dental field preferred
    • Clear networking and alliance building capabilities with an ability to influence and develop others, and navigate the internal processes
    • Demonstrated strong business acumen, strategic leadership and analytical skills
    • Ability to lead strategy development and follow on execution
    • Ability to adapt to dynamic and fast paced business environment with multiple and changing priorities
    • Strong influence management and excellent written and verbal communications skills are required
    • Highly motivated with demonstrated track record of high performance, project execution and producing outstanding results
    • Demonstrated track record of successfully coordinating the efforts and results of multiple functional areas
    • Significant, direct experience servicing customer needs, demonstrated ability to work with multiple clients and stakeholders.
    • Proven ability to facilitate open discussion and debate among key stakeholders and build internal and external relationships through partnering, anticipating needs and fulfilling expectations
    • This position will be located in Bridgewater NJ.
    • Domestic Travel required, ability to travel overnight ~30%
